Simon Hanselmann was born in 1981 in Launceston, Tasmania. His New York Times best-selling Megg, Mogg & Owl series has been translated into thirteen languages, nominated for multiple Ignatz and Eisner awards, and won Best Series at the Angoulme International Comics Festival in 2018. His graphic novels include Megahex (2014), Megg and Mogg in Amsterdam (2016), One More Year (2017), Bad Gateway (2019), Seeds and Stems (2020), an omnibus of never-before-collected Megg, Mogg & Owl short comics and rarities, and Crisis Zone (2021), an unabridged and uncensored Director's Cut collection of his webcomic. His latest book, Below Ambition, is coming August 2022 from Fantagraphics!
