I decided to use my experience writing for pharmaceutical companies and my master's degree in clinical research for something a bit more fulfilling. I quit my job in medical communications and started writing for people. It was really scary, but bit by bit I made progress. Theresa's books My first book, Loss of a Parent, was to help people grieve for their parents. I lost my dad in 2007 and struggled to find my way back from it.
