Juneymoon is the true, funny and sweet, illustrated children’s story of two dogs and one little girl who finds perfection in a less than perfect dog. Eight year old Izzy and her family have waited a long time to adopt a new dog. Now Juneymoon has finally arrived and she has big paws to fill. She must find a way to see the true beauty in Juneymoon. It takes some time, help from her family, and the realization that nobody is perfect for Izzy to accept and love Juneymoon for the sweet, devoted and perfectly imperfect dog she really is. Nikki Nesci tells the true story of her family losing their beloved dog Eli, adopting the wonderfully independent Juneymoon and how they all found love twice.
