The objective of our New York Test Prep Book for third grade math is to provide students, educators, and parents with practice materials focused on the core skills needed to help students succeed on the NY State math grade 3 assessment in 2018-19. A student will fare better on a test when s/he has practiced and mastered the skills measured by the assessment. A student also excels when s/he is familiar with the format and structure of the test. The end-of year math assessment determines if students have mastered third grade mathematics standards set by the NYS Department of Education, and ensures that a student is getting ready for fourth grade.
