Kathy is a fellow of SDMS and a Senior Member of AIUM. She lives with her family in Alabama, where she teaches, practices, and writes. Jim Baun, BS, RDMS, RVT, FSDMS Jim Baun is a pioneering clinical and academic sonographer who has served on the faculties and advisory councils of numerous sonography programs and national seminars. Widely published in sonography, he is the author of Ob/Gyn Sonography: An Illustrated Review for the classroom, clinical sites, and the registry exam. In 1997 he was elevated to Fellow of the SDMS. In 2016 the SDMS made him the recipient of the Joan Baker Pioneer Award. Jim lives in San Francisco, where he enjoys painting, writing, and hiking along the Golden Gate with his dog Mickey. Traci B. Fox, EdD, RT(R), RDMS, RVT Traci B.
