Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness, or “PPPD”, is one of the newest vestibular conditions to receive its official diagnostic criteria. Thought to originate from within the vestibular system and brain, PPPD typically generates chronic dizziness, vertigo, and/or unsteadiness that is worsened when patients are in an upright position.
