The second edition does not have digital in the title and does not contain Desmos examples.)I wrote this book with the mission to provide students preparing for the digital SAT math with a complete book that enables them to quickly solve questions on the SAT math modules using the shortest and most consistent method. The book is concise and easy to digest. It is divided into 85 independent categories (question-types) that are logically organized into 14 sections. Each category contains the required mathematical concepts, examples, and practice questions. There are over 200 examples in this book. Several questions on the SAT math modules can be solved within seconds using Desmos graphing calculator that is embedded in the digital testing application. This book contains 40 examples demonstrating the best utilization of Desmos graphing calculator. Each such example is accompanied by a graph showing the solution. Students can work at their own pace or create a customized study plan. Students beginning to prepare for the test but are running short on time can start with Algebra sections 1, 2, and 3, followed by Advanced Math sections 5 and 6. These sections contain most of the questions that can be easily solved using Desmos graphing calculator. Students already in the test prep process and looking for significant score boost can focus on sections and categories based on their areas of improvement. Each category is granular enough to map to a question. Students beginning to prepare for the test and have dedicated study time are encouraged to start from the beginning of the book and take time to complete a category. The “process of elimination” theme is utilized throughout this book. It is a time saving approach that reduces distraction and possibilities of mistakes, while providing reasoning for elimination of incorrect answers. Practice. Practice. Practice. All 800 practice questions in this book are based on released SAT tests and are written in the same format as on the SAT. Several questions in this edition have been updated based on released digital SAT tests. The answer section of this book spans 84 pages and contains detailed answer explanation for each practice question.
