The Sweetness of Love: Whitework Lavender Heart Lavender hearts are romantic in concept and evocative of another age when old-fashioned romance ruled the day. This lavender heart is decorated with my version of whitework a delicate embroidery motif for you to slow stitch onto linen. If you prefer, you can embroider it onto a finer cloth such as muslin, as the original designs would have been, but I think the marriage of linen and whitework is a lovely one. Special Gifts: Gift Tags Handmade gifts can be the simplest of things and yet the most endearing. They dont have to be grand or absolutely perfect they just need to be made with love. But if you really havent got the time to create a handmade gift from scratch, consider the wrapping and packaging. These are just as important as the gift.
