Later, Audubon issued a more affordable yet highly collectible octavo edition, with smaller, lithograph illustrations. Featuring the snowy egret, wild turkey, brown pelican, screech owl, and many others, this new collection includes 130 select plates from the octavo version enhanced by an informative Introduction to the artist and his work.
