The Abduction of Mark Himebaugh On Monday, November 25, 1991, Mark came home from school and walked down the beach to check-out a burning marsh fire. Walking home from the fire, he encountered a white male and a white female in a gray or light-colored car with a NJ temp tag in the rear window and a Kerbeck dealership sticker on the back. A sketch of the male subject was compiled by the New Jersey State Police, in 1992. Neither subject has been identified, or located, to date. Mark continued walking and ended up at the county park, with a 10-year-old white female, as observed by the park guard, walking towards the playground. Mark was never seen again after that sighting. Countless searches, over 30 years, have come up empty-handed. However, in recent years, several adults who were minors back then, have since come forward to reveal inappropriate behavior by people close to this investigation.
